A sea of complex, abstract images operates on the borders between noise and structure, 2D and 3D, and the abstract and the associative — an A/V set that opens up multiple potential narratives and experiences.
Jim Zweerts is a composer, sound designer and video artist based in The Hague.
His music is an intense mix of intricately layered soundscapes and raw, morphing beats. In his live sets, fast-moving visuals accompany the music, generated through algorithms that move through a range of aesthetics: microscopic textures, raw shapes, rhythmical patterns and the suggestion of space.
