KO(O)RTS Short Film Festival aims to provide a platform for (emerging) filmmakers to showcase their work, celebrate creativity and connect with each other. The festival is a moment for the local creators to meet with international professionals and exchange knowledge and ideas.
At the same time, the program of the festival offers the public an alternative, never seen before, fun film selection, hosted with care, multisensorial set ups and playful ways.
Next to the various screenings, the festival hosts workshops, a filmmaker meet-up and an award ceremony. In this way, we strive to create a vibrant event that brings together both filmmakers and film lovers and celebrates the art of short films.

is from another world, devilish, made by witches or wizards, naughty, vicious, disruptive, could make you uncomfortable..
WONDERFUL
is whimsical, kitsch, slay, cheesy, drip, eccentric, camp, extravagant, kinky, droll, probably made by unicorns…
Organisation
KO(O)RTS is an initiative from Sickhouse and is organised in collaboration with Concordia and Theatermakerij. The three organisations are curating the programs based on an international open call.
