Risotto by Marko Plejić

The Future of City Living: A short film about greed.
Amidst the urban chaos, a pigeon encounters an unexpected gift – discarded risotto. In its eyes, it’s a holiday feast, but also a refreshing break from the constant quest for food.
However, its joy is quickly challenged as another pigeon approaches.

Through this simple encounter, the film explores complex themes of contemporary civil society. Discarded food becomes a symbol of infinite surplus in a world where people starve. Pigeons, like people, engage in struggles for dominance, even when resources are plentiful.
